Mónica Cavallini is CEO of the Chilean Mutual Funds Association since 2005. Before joining the association, Mónica worked in the mining industry at Exxon Corp. for 16 years, holding different senior positions in finance and controllers in Chile and the United States. In 2004, she took the corporate managing position at SONAMI, The National Mining Society of Chile, until 2005 when she was asked to head the Chilean Mutual Funds Association. She is also a member of the Chilean Finance Ministry’s Capital Markets Consultative Council since 2015. Mónica holds a degree in Economics from Universidad de Chile and a Master’s degree in Population and Development from CELADE, United Nations.
