Mr. Jun Sugie is Vice Chairman of the Japan Investment Trusts Association (JITA), an organization for asset managers of investment funds and REITs. He started his career at Ministry of Finance and dedicated most of his career to the development of both domestic and international tax system as well as that of the capital market. In 2011, he was appointed as the Commissioner of Tokyo Regional Taxation Bureau. Prior to his appointment as Vice Chairman at JITA, he worked for Japan Securities Depository Center (JASDEC) as the Senior Executive Officer. He has a bachelor’s degree in laws from the University of Tokyo.
